Beginning this month, we have officially entered flu season, therefore it is important to remember a few tips to keep ourselves and the others around us healthy.  Make sure to always dress appropriately for the weather, continue to wash hands frequently and if you are feeling under the weather, please refrain from visiting your loved ones until you are feeling better.  Our facility strives to keep our clients safe and by following these simple guidelines we should all stay healthier!  With that being said, please keep your eyes open for the mailing of the flu consent forms and return them within a timely manor.

We would like to invite everyone to attend a Dementia Live Training on October 11th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on our Campus here at Kensington Place Assisted Living.   Renee Riffey, owner of Right at Home in Cedar Rapids, will be leading this education session.  This education will be provided free of charge and is open to the public, light refreshments will be provided.

The facility will be holding Trick-or-Treating on Tuesday, October 31st, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  We would love to have many kiddos to share our treats with, so stop in!

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who attended our Family Picnic this past month.  We had a great turnout and enjoyed spending time with you all!
