Notes from Nursing

With the recent outbreak in the facility, Hayley and I would like to take the time to discuss proper hand-washing and  helping decrease the spread of infection.  We encourage all visitors to wash their hands upon entering and leaving the facility.  There are hand-washing sinks available in all public restrooms and a hand-washing sink located by the east end med room.  The Center for Disease Control recommends washing your hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds.  There are hand-washing information sheets located in the restrooms as well.  If you are currently experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms (cough, vomiting, diarrhea, fever) we ask that you refrain from visiting until symptoms subside.  Thank you and if you have any questions, please call the facility and Hayley or I would be glad to assist you.
