Kensington Place Assisted Living

Hello everyone!

My name is Amy Orr and I am the new Assisted Living Director at Kensington Place.  I have been a Registered Nurse since 2006 and finished my bachelor's degree in nursing in early 2018.  As a nurse, I have worked in many areas including Med/Surg, Pediatrics, NICU, PACU, and most recently as a Health Coach at our local clinic.  I grew up in Newton, IA and was married straight out of high school.  My husband and I have lived many places since then but have loved being back in Iowa.  My husband, Cory, is pastor at Prairie Lakes Church in town.  We have three boys and two dogs.  The boys are involved in many activities, so we spend most of our "free" time chasing them from one to the next.  I am so excited to be here, and I look forward to getting to know you all!
