Notes from Nursing

In the month of May we observed National Nurses Week and in June we will be observing National Nursing Assistants Week.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our nursing staff for the caring and dedication they provide each and every day to our residents.  We have a great group of individuals who work here and have been going above and beyond to meet our residents' needs during this difficult time.  Although family is not able to visit in person, our staff have been working hard to make the residents' time in the nursing home extra special.  Staff are doing an excellent job assisting residents to communicate with family through letters, FaceTime, Skype, phone calls and window visits.  Staff have also done a tremendous job adapting to the continuously changing COVID guidelines in order to ensure our residents' safety.  We are extremely blessed to have such a great group of staff at NHNRC!
