It is hard to believe it is already June, and we are almost half way through the year 2020 and quite frankly it has not been the year that I had envisioned as I am sure almost everyone can agree with that.

I have done much self-reflecting through this pandemic and it has made me realize some of the things I may have taken for granted previously and has also made me more aware of many blessings that I am thankful for each day.  Some of those blessings  include the relationships that have been built and have grown even stronger with the individuals and families we have the honor of serving.  Through all the changes and difficult decisions that have been made, you have all been there to support the facility and offer kind words, gestures and gifts.  We will all forever be grateful for.

Another blessing is our hardworking staff members that have continued to show up each day.  With the many uncertainties in the world now, they have continued to provide kind and compassionate care and come to work with a smile on their faces.  They have remarkably adapted to the changes in many ways.  Without the kindness, dedication and commitment of each staff member we as a facility would not be successful in the fight against COVID-19.

And lastly and what I feel as most importantly the biggest blessing through all of this has been maintaining the health and safety of our residents, tenants and staff members.  This has been our top priority since the beginning of the pandemic and I am grateful to write we have continued to be successful thus far!

As many things around us are at the beginning phases of "reopening" we are continuing to follow the guidance from our local and federal officials for a way we may also begin to do so in the future in a safe manner.  There are many unknowns now of when this may occur, how this may look etc., but please know as we review these steps in the coming days and weeks we will actively be working with the above officials and following any guidance they may be able to provide to us while maintaining a safe environment.  As these changes are announced, we will continue to keep you all informed.

As always, if you have any questions and/or concerns, please feel free to call at any time.  I will be glad to assist you in any way.  Stay safe and we hope to see you all soon!
