From the Administrator

In the month of June our residents and tenants took advantage of the warm weather.  They were able to participate in the weekend of free fishing at Garnant Pond,  time planting flowers and vegetables in the facility courtyard and much conversation in the Gazebo.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update that at this time there have been no changes to our current visitation policy.  We are still asking that you schedule your visitation by calling the office at 641-394-4153 for NHNRC and 641-394-3316 for Kensington Place, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.  Our campus is still following the recommendations and guidance that has been set forth by local and federal officials through the Department of Inspections and Appeals, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and the Iowa Department of Public Health.  As soon as we receive any news or updated guidance, we will be sure to keep all our families and friends informed.

I also wanted to announce, that I have resigned from my position as the facility Administrator.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with our wonderful campus for the last 5 + years.  While this was not an easy decision, it was a decision that has put the needs of my family first.  My last day of employment with the facility will be July 14th, 2021.  I am forever grateful for the long-lasting relationships that I have developed while being a part of such a wonderful cmapius and team.
