Parkinson's Disease is a long-term movement disorder.  The brain cells that control movement start to die and cause changes in how you move, feel, and act.  You may also feel tightness, pain and weakness, especially in the muscles and joints.  Physical and occupational therapy may help you compensate for the changes brought about by the condition.  They can do this by addressing your balance, coordination, fatigue, pain, gait and weakness.
