Notes from Nursing

It's that time of year again and the cold and flu season is upon us.  We ask that if you are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms or fever, please postpone your visit as not to endanger the health of our residents.  The common cold can quickly become much worse for the elderly population.  Consent forms were sent out last month for the Prevnar 13 injection, please send those back if you haven't already done so.  We are working to get those administered before the end of the year. 

We want to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.  Also, if you would like to attend the Family Christmas Dinner on Sunday, December 3rd, please call the facility and reserve your seats today.
