It's that time of the year again!  We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and is able to spend time with your loved ones.  For people with COPD, getting out in the cold may worsen their symptoms, so here are a few things you can do to lessen that risk: wearing a fragrance free scarf or cold weather mask and breathing through your nose will warm the air up before getting into your airway, if you normally wear oxygen, put the tubing underneath your coat, take your rescue inhaler if appropriate and try to limit being outside for short periods of time.
