Autumn has arrived bringing with it so many wonderful things:

  • Vibrant colors
  • Crisp fresh air
  • Apple picking and pumpkins
  • Football
  • Cozy clothes
  • Warm blankets and a soft glowing fire
  • Mums and hay bales
  • Harvest

As we continue to be living in unprecedented times, I encourage you to breathe in Autumn like a breath of fresh air.  Enjoy the little things and focus on what is good.  Life continues to be hard, but how we respond to it is our choice.  Let us be a light in a dreary situation.  We can get through this together!

We are pushing along at Kensington Place.  Our staff are working hard to keep up with the constant change, and our tenants have kept great spirits and are so adaptable!  We appreciate the positive atmosphere we work to keep at Kensington and know that this too shall pass.  I know many are wondering about Flu shots and when to expect them.  They will be arriving any day now.  Orders have been received, so I will get them going as soon as they get here.  You also may be wondering when we will begin to work towards Phase 2 again.  The number one factor in this is the percent positive in the community.  Once this begins to trend down, we will begin moving forward again.  The good news is tenants are still able to get their hair done and go to medical appointments without quarantine.  We look forward to eating in the dining room again soon!

Thanks to all of you for your continued patience during this pandemic!
