February is all about the HEART!  Heart disease is a major threat to senior health - in fact, 84 percent of people age 65 years and older die from heart disease.  Though heart disease risks increase with age, it doesn't have to be an inevitable part of getting older.  Here are 7 steps to help prevent heart disease:  get enough exercise, if you smoke . . . QUIT, eat a heart healthy diet, reduce your alcohol intake, watch your weight, try to minimize your stress levels, and lastly watch your blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes.
