I am happy to report many of our residents received both their influenza vaccine as well as our Covid-19 booster vaccine this month. We have no additional cases of Covid-19 within the facility. Chickasaw County is still considered an area of substantial community transmission so we continue to encourage proper handwashing, proper mask use, and will continue to test employees per public heath guidance. Thank you all for complying with our visitation guidelines to ensure the safety and health of our residents and tenants!
On another note, I have accepted a new position as a psychiatry program director at a local hospital. It has been a great experience working at NHNRC and Kensington Place! It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know and care for many wonderful residents and tenants over the last 12+ years. I have also enjoyed working with many wonderful staff and families. Tessa will be filling in as the interim Director of Nursing starting November 2nd. We are also excited to have our new Administrator, Scott, and Assisted Living Director, Sarah, join the team at NHNRC and Kensington. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you or your loved one in the transition.
